Features

  • Delivered to your email account after every driving session. Enables you to monitor/coach your teen driver while they gain safe driving experience.

  • If recording video footage then the App will give the teen driver 10 seconds of "live view" once Start Trip has been pressed. This will give the teen an opportunity to ensure the phone camera is properly aligned. Once 10 seconds has expired the driving screen goes into a blackout driving mode so no live driving footage can be viewed by the teen driver so as to not be a distraction.

  • Optional text messages sent to your phone during your teen's driving session. Gives you "real time" feedback to take corrective action if needed.

  • The App will detect if the teen driver turns off the App during a driving session. A notification will be sent via text and email to the parent.

  • COMING SOON!

Note: In order to utilize the video recording capability of the App, the phone must be mounted on the vehicle dash.

  • If recording video footage and excessive g-forces are recorded then the App will automatically upload the video footage via cell phone as this may be an indication of a traffic accident.

  • If recording video footage then your teen has the ability to upload video footage via cell phone at any time by utilizing the touch screen Upload Report button. This feature is convenient for any road rage incidents or very low speed traffic accidents.

  • Yes.Your teen should not be calling, texting or using other Apps while driving. The App will report any phone usage during the driving session.

  • You can set a maximum speed limit for your teen and if breached you will be notified of when, where, how long and fastest speed recorded

  • The App will monitor for hard turns, fast acceleration and hard braking.

  • The App will report possible accidents based on excessive g-forces. It will provide location, date, time and video footage of possible accident. Note that excessive g-forces can be a result of unsafe driving (i.e. hard turns, fast acceleration and hard braking) as well.

  • The App will provide GPS location coordinates for the following situations: App activation, App termination, speed parameter breach, phone usage and excessive g-forces.

  • The App will provide total miles or kilometers traveled during the driving session.

  • Keeps count of unanswered calls and texts during the driving session. These unanswered calls and texts are "averted distractions" which otherwise could have distracted your teen driver.

  • Provides a proactive way to provide immediate feedback to your teen driver by sounding a warning sound and a visual screen advising of a driving breach. Affords your teen driver an opportunity to correct their driving behavior.

  • Provides a benchmark to assist you in determining "how long to use the App?" and provides your teen driver a goal to drive towards. We recommend that you consider using the App for a minimum of 1,000 "Safe Miles" driven.

  • Your teen can be recognized for mileage milestones of 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 safe miles driven. You or your teen driver would email the Driving Report that shows the total safe miles driven to date to SafeMileClub@iGuardianTeen.com and we will recognize them monthly via the iGuardianTeen website.
